Creating opportunities to learn through shared experiences using integrated arts to connect
and engage participants in learning centres, high schools and community centres.
Sexting, Cyberbullying and the Law.
TXT smART is a program aimed at young people in high school from years 10 – 12. Through a series of seven one hour sessions working with two arts educators, a legal expert and peer mentors, the program aims to help young people gain an understanding of the consequences personally, ethically and legally of cyberbullying and sexting.
"It is expected that at the end of the program the young people will produce an artwork based on their thoughts, ideas and understandings around cyberbullying and sexting. This artwork can take the form of a short film, song or music piece or visual art piece. The young people will have access to professional creative mentoring to build their skills and capacity and develop the quality of their work.” Georgina Pike
